A state of heightened readiness has been introduced due to a landslide in the Krasnooktyabrsky district.

      On April 27, 2026, at 13:26, incidents: A state of heightened readiness has been introduced in the village of Endovishchi in the Krasnooktyabrsky district. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the press service of the municipality administration. Local residents reported a landslide on April 26. Footage of deep cracks in the ground and crushed soil walls of houses spread on social media. It was revealed that on Vodoyomnaya Street, as a result of the natural disaster, a summer house, several outbuildings, the roadway, and the gas pipeline were damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties among the residents.

      The landslide resulted in a disruption of gas supply to 44 private homes. It is noted that ten of them are permanently inhabited – a total of 20 people. Central water supply and sewage are absent on this street, and the population uses private wells. Specialists inspected the scene. Soon, a plug will be installed on the gas pipeline, after which 40 houses will be connected to the gas supply. Gas cylinders and radiators will be used for heating four more buildings located in the landslide zone.
