Two hotels will be built in Nizhny Novgorod for 1.4 billion rubles.

      On April 25, 2026, at 12:49, Culture and Leisure The Land and Property Relations Council approved the allocation of plots for the construction of two hotels in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by a correspondent from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod."

      The first project is intended to be implemented by LLC "Investgrad." The hotel is planned to be built in the Kanavinsky district — near Komsomolskaya Square on Travamaynaya Street, at house No. 22. The investment in the project will exceed 1.1 billion rubles.

      For construction, the company plans to lease a land plot of 1,743 square meters.

      The second hotel may appear in the Soviet district — within the boundaries of Boris Panin, Poltavskaya streets, and Garage Passage. The project, costing 278 million rubles, is planned to be implemented by LLC "Metal Products."

      The investor has requested a plot of 1,872 square meters, adjacent to the territory already owned by him.

      The head of the urban development department of the mayor's office, Alla Konovitsyna, opposed the placement of the hotel in this location. She noted that earlier it was planned to build a House of Creativity here, and residents suggested arranging a park.

      In turn, the Minister of Property and Land Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Sergey Barinov, said that the plot is too narrow for the construction of a social facility. According to him, the territory is currently being illegally used as a parking lot.

      The director of LLC "Metal Products," Mikhail Zhuravlev, added that the territory was previously excluded from the comprehensive development project because the construction of the House of Creativity there turned out to be impossible.

      Recall that the agreement on the comprehensive development of the territory on Boris Panin Street was concluded in January with the company "Ecolife" from Izhevsk. The document provides for the development of three non-contiguous plots with a total area of 3.34 hectares.
