Nizhny Novgorod residents will be able to fly directly to 19 destinations during the May holidays.

      April 24, 2026 19:29 Society During the May holidays, 19 destinations will be available from Chkalov International Airport in Nizhny Novgorod. Flights on regular and charter routes will be provided by 14 airlines, the airport's press service reported. During the holidays, passengers will be able to travel to Antalya, Yekaterinburg, Yerevan, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Norilsk, Orenburg, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Tashkent, Ufa, Hurghada, Chelyabinsk, and Sharm El Sheikh. Traditionally, direct flights to Antalya resume before the May holidays. Moreover, this year there will be more flights on the weekends themselves. Starting May 1, AZUR air will begin flying the Nizhny Novgorod - Antalya route twice a week on Boeing 767 aircraft. Among Russian destinations, St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Yekaterinburg are the most frequently chosen. The busiest day will be May 8, with 20 departures scheduled for that date.
