In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the career guidance project "Military Career Navigator" has been launched.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, a project has been launched for the career orientation of schoolchildren in the field of military professions. The project was organized by the regional branch of the Movement of the First in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This week, a series of master classes and meetings with representatives of modern military professions took place in Nizhny Novgorod for more than 150 schoolchildren from Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk, and Bor. The students were introduced to modern military professions such as UAV operator, military translator, military psychologist, military financier, security information systems specialist, military journalist, and others. At the start of the project, a plenary session titled "Platoon of the Future: Professions That Will Change the Army" was held for the youth from the Yunarmiya movement and one of the key patriotic projects of the Movement of the First, "Guardians of History." Experts discussed changes in the modern army and current development trends, explaining how military specialties can be mastered during civilian education. Participants in the project also attended a master class on UAV management and were introduced to the All-Russian Drone Piloting Championship "Pilots of the Future" of the Movement of the First, which will start in March 2026.

      "Military Career Navigator" is an initiative that provides modern schoolchildren with the opportunity to learn about contemporary military professions. Experts also included the chief of staff of the regional branch of the Yunarmiya movement, Aidar Rizattdinov, the head of the Department of General Military and Linguistic Training at the Military Training Center of NNSU, Dmitry Ryabov, and a veteran of the Special Military Operation — participant of the regional program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region," Alexander Kuritsyn. According to the organizers, the "Military Career Navigator" project is an important platform for dialogue between educational organizations, patriotic associations, and the expert community. The project allows for systematic career orientation work with schoolchildren in the region, expands their understanding of modern military and military-related professions, and helps in making informed choices about their future professional trajectories. The author and leader of the project is the head of the project implementation department of the regional branch of the Movement of the First in the Nizhny Novgorod region, a student of the Military Training Center at NNSU named after N.I. Lobachevsky, and a participant in the All-Russian student project "Your Move," Konstantin Desyatnikov.

      The organizers of the project are the regional branch of the Movement of the First in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Military Training Center at NNSU named after N.I. Lobachevsky, the Center for Military-Patriotic Education in Nizhny Novgorod named after Maxim Nastin, and the regional branch of the All-Russian Military-Patriotic Public Movement "Yunarmiya." Meetings took place at the venues of the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Military Training Center at NNSU, and the House of National Unity.
