This became known at a meeting of the Council on Land and Property Relations under the regional government, reports NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" correspondent. The company LLC "Sportkom" is requesting a plot of land measuring 2,125 square meters for the construction of the facility. Currently, the plot is partially fenced off due to construction work on the adjacent territory. There is a vehicle passage, garbage containers, and power line supports located there. At the meeting, it was noted that the project does not comply with the planning and surveying documentation from 2016, which provided for the construction of an apartment building. Therefore, the Ministry of Urban Development considers the implementation of the project impossible. In addition, according to the agency, the plot is encumbered with the rights of third parties. The city administration supports the initiative provided that a number of conditions are met. In particular, changes to the planning documentation, obtaining permission for a conditionally permitted type of use, as well as compensating the administration for the costs of resettlement and demolition of the emergency house. The Minister of Urban Development and Agglomeration Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Daria Shunaeva, noted at the meeting that decisions had previously been developed for this territory, providing for the formation of a unified construction front, and an apartment building is planned to be located there. "We are for sports, but there is a proposal to approach the territory more comprehensively and develop it systematically rather than piecemeal," she said. Questions were also raised about the fact that the organization was created in November 2025, while its financial indicators are zero. It was not possible to obtain answers about the sources of financing, as the investor did not confirm participation and was not present at the meeting. As a result, a decision was made to deny the company the provision of the plot, and the Ministry of Urban Development was recommended to consider this territory for the implementation of the KRT project.
