Young Nizhny Novgorod residents reached the final of the Knowledge.Game tournament.

      April 24, 2026 10:17 Society The "Ni.Grek" team from Lyceum No. 165 named after the 65th anniversary of GAZ in Nizhny Novgorod has reached the finals of the Knowledge Game. This quiz competition among schoolchildren and college students will see them and 90 other teams of intellectuals from 89 regions of Russia, as well as from the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Belarus, meet on May 15 in Moscow at the National Center "Russia". A total of 20 qualifying games were organized for participants of this large-scale intellectual competition. The regional stage of the Knowledge Game is held according to the schedule by federal districts. More than 1300 schoolchildren and college students participated in the competitive day of the Volga Federal District. The winner in each subject of the Russian Federation will have the right to compete in the in-person finals of the Tournament, which will take place on May 15, 2026, in Moscow. This large-scale event will bring together up to 500 participants. Based on the results of the final game of the Tournament, 10 teams will be awarded: 1 absolute winner of the competition, as well as 9 prize winners. All of them will receive valuable gifts from the event partners. The Knowledge Game Tournament is included in the list of events recommended by the Ministry of Education of Russia for implementation as part of the annual calendar plan for educational work. In addition to the quiz direction, the 2025-2026 season continues the Tournament of the sports "What? Where? When?" (12+) under the license of the rights holder LLC "Television Company 'Igra-TV'". Teams in two age categories are invited to participate: schoolchildren and students of secondary vocational education (14-18 years old) and university students and working youth (18-25 years old). In the quiz direction, in addition to the track for schools and colleges, there is also a competition for university students, where teams of up to 5 people can test their logic and erudition in questions ranging from rebuses to charades.
