This concerns a car and real estate, the legality of which was not confirmed. The regional prosecutor's office conducted a check on compliance with anti-corruption legislation. During this, it was established that in 2013-2014, the former head of the city’s Ministry of Internal Affairs acquired a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 worth over 3 million rubles. To avoid declaring the purchase, he registered the car in the name of a close relative. Similarly, three real estate properties were acquired with a total value of over 7 million rubles. At the same time, the official income of the official did not allow for such purchases. In this regard, the prosecutor of Nizhny Novgorod filed a lawsuit demanding that property worth a total of 11 million rubles be transferred to the state. The court fully satisfied the claim. In addition, a criminal case against the former police officer is being considered in the Lenin District Court. He is accused of exceeding his official powers for selfish or other personal interests.
