10.5 million rubles have been allocated for determining flood zones in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
On April 23, 2026, at 08:58, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region announced a competition for the preparation of proposals for establishing the boundaries of flooding and inundation zones. This was reported on the state procurement website.
The initial cost of the contract is 10.5 million rubles. The work will cover the territory of Vyksa, Semenovsky, and Uren districts. The list of tasks includes studying the hydrological regime of water bodies, surveying flooded areas, conducting necessary surveys and calculations. The result will be the preparation of proposals for establishing or adjusting the boundaries of flooding and inundation zones, as well as the preparation of information for inclusion in the state water registry and the Unified State Register of Real Estate.
The obtained materials will need to be coordinated with local government bodies, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the branch of the State Cadastral Chamber for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the Department of Rosgidromet for the Volga Federal District.
The total length of the survey sections is approximately 96 kilometers. The work is divided into two stages. The first stage, covering the territory of Vyksa, must be completed by November 30, 2026, and is estimated at 4.5 million rubles. The second stage, which includes the Semenovsky and Uren districts, is planned to be completed by November 30, 2027, with a cost of 6 million rubles.
