The amounts of compensation for residents of the house with the collapsed roof in Green City have been announced.

      On April 22, 2026, at 18:44 Society The administration of Nizhny Novgorod approved the procedure for paying monetary compensation for housing rental for residents of the building located on the territory of the VTsSPS sanatorium in the resort village of Green City. The resolution was published on the mayor's office website.

      This concerns owners and tenants of apartments who needed temporary housing. The amount of compensation depends on the number of rooms in the affected building. Up to 28,000 rubles per month will be paid for a one-room apartment, up to 38,000 rubles for a two-room apartment, and up to 43,000 rubles for a three-room apartment.

      If the apartment in the affected building is co-owned, the compensation for renting one housing will be divided among the co-owners in proportion to their shares.

      To receive compensation, you need to submit an application to the district administration in free form, a copy of your passport with the original presented, a copy of the rental agreement with the original, documents confirming rent payment, and bank details.

      Let us remind you that on March 12, the roof of building No. 10/2 collapsed—it could not withstand the load due to accumulated snow. Residents were evacuated, and a criminal case was initiated. A state of increased readiness was introduced within a radius of three meters from the building.
