The training of specialists will be organized at the Lobachevsky NNGU Clinical Medicine Institute and PIMU. Thus, NNGU will train 45 targeted specialists at the request of the regional Ministry of Health. Among them are geneticists, obstetricians-gynecologists, psychiatrists, cardiologists, therapists, surgeons, dentists, and specialists in medical rehabilitation. The main volume of training will fall on PIMU. Here, 193 positions in residency have been ordered. In addition, the specialty program in dentistry provides for 12 targeted positions, with the regional Ministry of Health as the customer. This year, there will also be significant support for the Vladimir region. It has been allocated 89 targeted positions, including 51 for medical students and 38 for resident doctors. There is also another feature of the campaign - some future doctors will be sent to study outside the region. Residency in gynecology, dermatovenereology, and pediatric surgery can be completed at the Pirogov RNIIMU. Targeted training is also planned at the Russian Center for Neurology and Neuroscience, the NMIC of Endocrinology, the NMIC of Surgery named after A.V. Vishnevsky of the Ministry of Health of Russia, and at the "Almazovsky" Cardiology Center. After graduation, graduates will be required to work in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
