      The Deputy Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, Kirill Lazorin, lost the election for the president of the Federal Notary Chamber. The results of the voting were summarized by the FPN. Three candidates were vying for the position of head of the FNP. Among them was Kirill Lazorin, who also heads the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Notary Chamber. The overwhelming majority of votes went to the vice-president of the FNP, Alexandra Ignatenko. She has been working in the notary field since 1994.

      Recall that in November 2025, a conflict erupted between Lazorin and the notary from Vyksa, Tatyana Egorova. The latter criticized the actions of the deputy — the purchase of a "Maybach" for business trips, the sale of the building of the headquarters of the Nizhny Novgorod Notary Chamber for a business center, and so on.

      As a result, the notary sent an open letter to the Federation Council, and on January 15, by a lawsuit from the regional notary chamber, the court revoked the license of Olesya Zakharova — Tatyana Egorova's daughter.
