      Veterans of the Special Military Operation can receive a grant "Agromotivator" of up to 7 million rubles for the development of their own agribusiness. "Agromotivator" is a new type of grant aimed at supporting veterans of the Special Military Operation. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, it will be issued for the first time in 2026. Participants in the competitive selection can apply for amounts ranging from 3 to 7 million rubles depending on the chosen direction. A mandatory condition is the ownership or lease of a land plot that is used or planned to be used for agricultural production," noted the Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Nikolai Denisov. The regional Ministry of Agriculture clarified that the grant amount should not exceed 90% of the costs for project implementation. Funds can be directed towards the purchase, construction, repair, and modernization of production and warehouse facilities, connection to engineering networks, purchase of agricultural animals and poultry, as well as equipment, machinery, vehicles, and technology. To participate in the selection, it is necessary to submit an application on paper to the agricultural management of the municipal district administrations at the place of registration or activity. Applications are accepted from April 21 to May 12, 2026, inclusive. Full selection conditions and documentation requirements are posted on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
