Oil production at AO "Knyagininskoye Moloko" increased by 17%

      April 22, 2026 17:02 Economy Experts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC) together with employees of "Knyagininskoye Milk" JSC summarized the results of implementing lean technology tools at the enterprise as part of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The company is engaged in the production of dairy products (milk, cottage cheese, butter, kefir, cream). The production process of butter was chosen as the pilot flow. The share of sales of this product in the company's revenue is 17.9%. "Over six months of project work, RCC experts together with the enterprise's working group thoroughly analyzed the operation of the pilot site and implemented improvements to three main problems that had the greatest impact on the flow. For example, they reorganized the storage system, revised the frequency of maintenance, and unified reporting when analyzing the overall efficiency of the equipment. These and other changes allowed for a 17 percent increase in output in the selected flow," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. RCC experts trained 12 employees of the enterprise in lean technologies and also prepared two internal trainers who will be able to independently train their colleagues in the future. In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, lean technology tools within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy" are being implemented by 28 food producers, including 10 producers of milk and dairy products. A total of 316 regional companies are participants in the federal project.
