Two beavers were rescued and returned to the forest in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry. In the village of Niva in the Lyskovsky district, a beaver approached people and decided to take a walk through the settlement. In the morning, local residents noticed the animal and reported it to the specialists. A state hunting inspector from the Lyskovsky interdistrict department promptly arrived at the scene. He carefully captured the animal and released it into the forest. Another incident occurred in the village of Chicherevo in the Volodarsky district. There, a local resident discovered a beaver on the territory of an abandoned gas station. The animal had fallen into a container dug into the ground and could not get out on its own. Specialists from the Volodarsky district society of hunters and fishermen quickly arrived at the scene, captured the beaver, and returned it to its natural habitat.
