The annual all-Russian campaign to help veterans "Red Carnation" starts on April 10.

      From April 10 to June 22, the charitable foundation "Memory of Generations" will hold the "Red Carnation" campaign for the eleventh time. By purchasing a red carnation badge for a donation, residents of Russia will be able to support veterans of the Great Patriotic War and other military conflicts. Volunteers distributing badges can be found on the central streets of cities, in parks, and at mass events. Volunteers are dressed in branded clothing with the "Red Carnation" project logo and their organization's insignia, holding donation boxes in their hands. Badges can be purchased not only from volunteers but also through a network of partners: branches of "Russian Post," long-distance trains and high-speed trains of RZD, major marketplaces, and retail stores. In 2025, the campaign was supported in the Nizhny Novgorod region by "Volunteers of Victory" and "Silver" volunteers of the federal program "Young at Heart." The total contribution from the region to the campaign amounted to 505,464 rubles. All collected funds are directed to medical assistance for veterans: hearing aids, prosthetics, rehabilitation courses, and other medical needs. The foundation hopes that this year even more people will support the campaign and that its collections will exceed previous totals.
