The 52-year-old citizen had already been subjected to administrative punishment for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. However, he again got behind the wheel while drunk, as a result of which he was held criminally liable under part 1 of article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person who has been subjected to administrative punishment or has a criminal record). According to the court's verdict, the Nissan Terrano belonging to the man must be confiscated and transferred to state ownership.
The corresponding enforcement proceedings were initiated at the Lyskovsky district department of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region. An officer of the service imposed a lien on the vehicle and drew up a seizure report. The bailiff also sent a request to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation proposing to transfer the crossover for the needs of the special military operation. Representatives of the military agency deemed that the vehicle would be a good support for the fighters on the front line.
The enforcement officer handed over the Nissan Terrano to representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation by an acceptance-transfer act, and the enforcement proceedings were concluded with actual execution.
