      April 21, 2026 14:24 Society Nizhny Novgorod received all 144 single-section trams "MiNin". The city also received seven out of 26 three-section trams, the regional transport ministry reported.

      Let us remind you that within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," the capital of the Volga region demonstrated the best indicators for updating the tram fleet in Russia.

      The modernization of tram tracks is also ongoing: out of 149.3 km in single-track calculations, 107 km have already been relaid. The relevant ministry emphasized that ultimately the entire existing network will be updated. This will allow for a one-and-a-half times increase in the average speed of tram movement, as well as reduce noise and vibration loads on buildings.
