      As of April 17, 97 household plots, 13 low-water bridges, and 8 sections of roads remain underwater in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the regional emergency management agency.

      In the past 24 hours, the flood situation has changed in different directions. In Arzamas, Sechenovsky, and Buturlinovsky districts, the water has receded: five household areas and one section of road have been cleared. However, in the Pavlovsky district, the elements have taken a new crossing: the low-water bridge between the settlements of Starye Shcherbino and Novyye Shcherbino is now underwater.

      The flood continues in 14 municipalities of the region. There are no casualties or injuries among the population, and evacuation of residents is not required.
