Nizhny Novgorod residents were warned about interruptions in television broadcasting on April 20.

      April 17, 2026 09:34 Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region have been warned about temporary interruptions in broadcast television and radio. On April 20, from 01:00 to 10:00 Moscow time, scheduled preventive maintenance will take place at a number of radio and television stations.

      The restrictions will affect the RTS "Nizhny Novgorod," "Arzamas," "Vyksa," and "Sarov." During this period, the broadcasting of 20 television channels and three radio channels included in the digital packages RTRS-1 and RTRS-2 may be suspended. Interruptions may also affect some FM radio stations and analog television channels.

      In all broadcasting points in the region, the first multiplex of digital television will be broadcast in the federal version—without regional inserts. Additionally, temporary interruptions in the broadcast of the radio station "Radio Obraz" are not ruled out. All outages have been coordinated with the broadcasters.

      After the work is completed, broadcasting should resume as normal. If the signal for digital terrestrial television does not automatically restore, viewers are advised to restart their television or set-top box and perform a channel scan. This procedure helps eliminate possible software failures and restore stable reception.
