      April 16, 2026 20:00 Incidents A resident of the Gorodetsky district will stand trial, accused of fraud in the construction of a house. As reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region, an indictment has been approved in the criminal case against the general director of a commercial organization. He is charged under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — fraud on a particularly large scale. According to the investigation, from March to December 2022, the accused deceived a client and embezzled over 1.4 million rubles. The man promised to supply construction materials but initially had no intention of fulfilling his obligations.
