      The construction of the terraced park in the Pochainsky ravine of Nizhny Novgorod is proceeding according to the approved schedule, reports the website pravda-nn.ru, citing the city administration. As explained by the general contractor GP NO "DiRON", the project is in the final stage of engineering preparation of the territory. Specialists have already completed the reconstruction of the stormwater collector, installed a new drainage system, implemented a set of anti-landslide measures, and reinforced the slopes. A pedestrian tunnel has also been laid on the site, and the foundation for the future pedestrian bridge has been prepared. The street of Architect Kharitonov has been partially put in order. Currently, work continues on the collector behind the Lykova dam and the installation of the storm sewer chamber necks. At the same time, the assembly of the bridge's metal structures is underway. With the onset of stable favorable weather, the contractor plans to begin reinforced concrete and earthworks, as well as the installation of hard surfaces and further landscaping. In the near future, the reinforcement and leveling of the slopes will be completed. After that, the laying of internal engineering networks of the park and comprehensive landscaping of the territory will begin. Then, the builders will start constructing the amphitheater, staircases, and observation platforms. According to the city hall, the work is on schedule. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

      Recall that the contract for the construction of the terraced park in the Pochainsky ravine was signed in October 2022. Initially, the project's cost was estimated at nearly 3 billion rubles, and the contractor began work in December 2023. The project involves the creation of a multi-level public space with an amphitheater, recreation areas, a skate park, cycling and pedestrian routes, observation platforms, and water features. Initially, the completion of construction was planned for November 2025, but the deadlines were subsequently shifted. The handover of the project is now scheduled for November 2026. At the same time, the estimated cost of the project has increased to 4.5 billion rubles.

      In March 2025, an additional 1.1 billion rubles were allocated for the reconstruction of the collector and the engineering protection of the slopes in the ravine. It was also previously reported that the road in the Pochainsky ravine is not planned to be opened until November 2026.
