The project involves the construction of a modern facility for the production of potato flakes. The initiator is the JSC "Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." As noted in the materials, the area has an extensive raw material base, and the demand for finished products remains stable. In addition, the implementation of the initiative may contribute to the formation of an agro-cluster. The investment volume is estimated at 3.37 billion rubles. The production capacity of the enterprise will be 22,300 tons of products per year. More than 200 jobs are expected to be created. The project implementation period is estimated at three years. According to forecasts, annual revenue could reach 3.8 billion rubles. The internal rate of return is stated at 30.5%, and the net present value over ten years is 3.5 billion rubles. The project is expected to pay off within six years. A plot of land of five hectares will be required for the production facility. The area of the production complex will be 504 square meters, and the required energy consumption capacity will be 2 MW.
