The woman called pensioners and provided false information about checking electrical wiring. After that, the accused would come to their homes pretending to be specialists. In the apartments, they simulated inspections and convinced the owners of system malfunctions. The victims were offered to buy a voltage stabilizer at an inflated price. Thus, three pensioners handed over 20,000, 35,200, and 32,000 rubles to the criminals. Additionally, the investigation believes that the accused stole money. While the woman distracted the homeowners with paperwork, the man found places to store the funds. As a result, two victims lost 940,000 and 170,000 rubles.
