The Deputy Minister of Defense Tsivileva visited the Nizhny Novgorod Military School.
On April 16, 2026, at 09:27, Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, military financiers gathered to discuss issues related to providing social guarantees to military personnel, military pensioners, and their families. This was reported by the MAX channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The event was attended by State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva. According to her, the volume of social guarantees, primarily for participants in the special military operation, has significantly increased, and military commissariats and social security centers play an important role in their implementation.
The purpose of the gathering was to discuss pension provision issues within the Ministry of Defense and to exchange regional experiences in organizing this work. Representatives of financial authorities, leadership of central military management bodies, heads of social security centers of military commissariats from 89 regions of Russia, and units located abroad participated in the discussion. Some participants joined via video conference.
Director of the Department of Social Guarantees of the Ministry of Defense Yulia Yarkoeva noted that the effectiveness of resource use directly affects the quality and timeliness of social guarantees provided to military personnel and their families.
"Currently, work is underway to digitize processes, within which an automated pension provision system is being created," she added.
During the gathering, participants thoroughly examined issues of interaction between military units, financial and economic bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and the Military-Social Center of the Ministry of Defense to reduce the time for processing documents when assigning pensions and compensations.
Also, as part of her working trip, Anna Tsivileva visited the Nizhny Novgorod Higher Military Engineering Command School, which was reestablished last year. The head of the school, Major General Igor Pavelko, reported to her on the state of the educational and material base, the provision of technical training means, and the resolution of issues regarding the arrangement of the territory.
It was previously reported that in the spring, about 2,700 conscripts are planned to be sent to military units in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
