Three roads were opened after the water receded in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      April 14, 2026 19:15 Society The movement of transport on three sections of regional and intermunicipal roads has been restored in the Nizhny Novgorod region after the water level of the floodwaters decreased. This was reported by the regional GUA.

      In the Kulebaksky district, traffic has been restored on the bridges over the Shiloksha and Lemety rivers on the "Vladimir - Murom - Arzamas" route. Traffic is operating in a normal mode, while specialists continue to monitor the condition of the structures.

      In the Sokolsky district, the road "Dorofeevo - Gavrilovka" has been opened in the area of the village of Olovyagino. Previously, there were reports of water overflow and erosion of the embankment; now traffic has been restored, and the situation is being monitored.

      Traffic has also resumed on the section of the road "Kriusha - Vad - Perevoz - Buturlino - Tolba" in the Perevozsky district, where the water level has decreased.

      Constant monitoring has been organized on all sections. Road services continue to control the flood situation and are ready to respond quickly to changes.

      The management also reminded drivers of the need to exercise caution, especially near water bodies, and to follow the instructions of temporary road signs.

      Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that flooding has currently been recorded in 23 municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
