This was reported at a press conference by the deputy head of the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Nizhny Novgorod region, Natalia Sadykova, as reported by a correspondent of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." According to her, no new cases of appeals in the area have been registered in the last two days. Recall that residents began to seek medical help for symptoms of intestinal infection at the Uren Central District Hospital on the evening of April 5. In the first days, 54 people sought medical assistance, six were hospitalized. Rospotrebnadzor established that norovirus was detected in the infected individuals. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, has requested a report on the progress of the investigation.
