      The formation of the station complex framework has begun in Liberty Square in Nizhny Novgorod. The first monolith of the future subway station was reported in the Telegram channel "Metro NN."

      Metro builders are working on the site in the station pit at a depth of more than ten meters. Nearby, in the area of Varvarskaya Street, there are completed tunnels. Previously, reinforced frames were installed here, and now they have started the installation of monolithic structures for the first section.

      To construct all the reinforced concrete structures, more than 580 cubic meters of concrete need to be laid. "The builders have already poured the 'first concrete,' laying 11 cubic meters, and after it sets, work on the installation of walls and ceilings will continue," the message states.

      Earlier, we reported that the stations of the Nizhny Novgorod metro at Sennaya and Svobody will be completed by August 2027.
