Nizhny Novgorod veterans will receive 10,000 rubles for Victory Day.

      On April 10, 2026, 13:13 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, veterans of the Great Patriotic War have begun to receive annual payments for Victory Day. Funds have been arriving since the beginning of April, as reminded by the regional branch of the Social Insurance Fund.

      Participants in combat operations who served in the active army during the war are entitled to the payment. Veterans who became disabled due to injuries, concussions, or illnesses related to combat operations also receive the funds.

      In April, about 80 people will receive the payments. The amount of one-time support is 10,000 rubles. The funds are transferred along with the pension, and no application is required for this.

      If the payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, the money will be transferred in advance — on the previous working day. Pensions are delivered by "Post of Russia" according to the established work schedule.

      Let us remind you that last year, WWII veterans received 80,000 rubles each. This payment was granted in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory.
