      April 8, 2026 12:59 Society Work to eliminate the consequences of the landslide near the IT campus in Nizhny Novgorod will begin after dry and warm weather sets in. This was stated by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev, as reported by "Ъ-Privolzhye." Specialists have surveyed the slope. No critical situation has been recorded, and the situation is under control. Currently, the soil in the landslide area remains wet and heavy. The city head explained that after two to three weeks of dry weather, when the ground dries out, the overhanging part of the mass is planned to be artificially shifted — so that it collapses onto the sidewalk, rather than onto the roadway. At the same time, there is no threat of soil sliding onto the road. The retaining wall is capable of withstanding the load. A landslide previously occurred on the Zelensky descent.
