The Minister of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region commented on the tragedy in the Perm Territory.

The Minister of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Mikhail Puchkov, commented on the tragedy in the Perm Krai, where a student attacked a teacher, and she died from her injuries. The official called for more attention to be paid to alarming signals in children's behavior and to strengthen preventive work in the region's schools to prevent such cases.

Puchkov reminded that from a legal point of view, a person is considered innocent until a court verdict comes into legal force. At the same time, he emphasized that actions of this kind cannot be justified under any circumstances. The minister expressed confidence that the competent authorities would investigate all the details of the incident, and many pieces of information disseminated in the media and social networks still need to be verified.

The head of the regional Ministry of Education drew attention to the importance of timely responses to changes in students' behavior. Among the alarming signals, he mentioned regular absences from classes, sharp behavioral violations, and other manifestations that should not go unnoticed by teachers, parents, and preventive services. In the schools of the Nizhny Novgorod region, according to him, control over attendance has been strengthened, and work with systematic truancy has been intensified so that problematic situations do not go unnoticed.

Puchkov specifically addressed the issue of inadequate behavior of students in lessons. He noted that uncontrolled shouting, demonstrative violations of discipline, or extreme forms of maladaptation cannot be considered the norm. In the minister's opinion, children with pronounced disorders should not be in the same class as other students, as this hinders the development of the entire group and the child with special needs.

The minister emphasized that mass schools and their standard pedagogical technologies are not always capable of dealing with such cases. "A teacher cannot work with such a student group; this is an unsolvable situation for the standard pedagogical technologies of a mass school. Inclusion can only be to a certain level of a child's characteristics. Beyond that, it is torture for everyone and a possible path to tragedy," Puchkov stated, effectively outlining the boundaries of inclusive education in regular classes.

In conclusion of his address, the head of the department expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased teacher, as well as to the teaching staff of the school. He noted that the tragedy was a heavy blow to the entire educational community and once again highlighted the need for systematic preventive work—from psychological support for children to the competent organization of the educational environment and timely responses to "red flags" in adolescents' behavior.
