The flood has caused disruptions in the water supply in Bogorodsk.

      April 7, 2026 14:46 Society Residents of Bogorodsk are facing interruptions in water supply. The district administration reported that the situation is related to the seasonal deterioration of water quality in the Oka River due to melting snow. To ensure the supply of clean water to residents' homes, the filtration systems have to be flushed twice as often. Most of this work is carried out at night. For this reason, a temporary decrease in pressure in the system is possible over the next one to two weeks. The administration emphasized that this is not an emergency — it is a necessary technological measure. The tanks with purified water are currently not filling up at the usual volume. In addition, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "UWKH" is negotiating with industrial enterprises to reduce water consumption. Residents are asked to remain calm. The administration assured that all possible measures are being taken to stabilize the situation as soon as possible and apologized for the temporary inconveniences.
