On April 7, 2026, at 15:31, Society A panel discussion on the topic "Workshop for Management Teams. How to Raise Leaders Today?" took place as part of the program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region." The event, held at the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, featured the Chief of the Main Staff of the All-Russian Children's and Youth Military-Patriotic Public Movement "Yunarmiya," Hero of the Russian Federation Vladislav Golovin, the head of the Central Staff of the All-Russian Public Organization "Young Guard of United Russia," holder of the Order of Courage Alexander Amelin, and the chairman of the Council of the regional branch of the "Movement of the Firsts" in the Nizhny Novgorod Region Vyacheslav Amosov. The moderator was Ivan Kalmykov, Vice-Rector of KUPNO and head of the year-round youth educational center "KUPNO.START." Before the event began, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government Vladimir Zharov presented the participant of the program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" Valery Loginov with the badge "Volunteer of Donbass." The panel discussion focused on topics of patriotic education, identifying leaders among young participants of public organizations, and the comprehensive development of youth movement activists. Additionally, program participants asked the speakers questions. "Leadership qualities are instilled at a very young age, and it is important for parents to assist the child on their path to becoming a person. Subsequently, the task of educators and mentors is to recognize potential and provide opportunities to realize it, supporting the initiatives of the children and directing their knowledge in the right direction. Programs like 'Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region' are also aimed at forming leaders, but already in the management environment. Our president has repeatedly noted that forming a new elite from among the veterans of the special military operation allows for increasing the efficiency of the entire management system of our state. Thanks to such programs, yesterday's fighters successfully adapt to civilian life, reveal their potential, exchange knowledge and experience, and engage in public activities. As a result, they replenish the team of powerful managers who will work for the benefit of the country," emphasized Vladislav Golovin. Acting Minister of Human Resources Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Roman Markov noted that such events help program participants hear the opinions of people who have already established themselves not only as defenders of the Motherland but also as active managers. "I know that many participants in the project 'Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region' want to engage in patriotic education of youth. Today, they shared their experiences and knowledge with the heroes of the Fatherland, leaders of youth patriotic organizations. Such meetings help to learn firsthand how to effectively work with representatives of the generation that will build the future of our country. Working with youth is the most important skill of a competent manager at both the regional and municipal levels," shared Roman Markov. Also, the Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Svetlana Anufrieva delivered a lecture on the topic "Youth as a Strategic Resource of the Region: From Passive Audience to Active Agents of Development" to the program participants. It is worth noting that the program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" is aimed at the integration and employment of participants and veterans of the special military operation into the system of public administration and enterprises in the region. In March 2025, an agreement was signed between the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, RANEPA, and KUPNO on cooperation in implementing this program. Based on the results of the selection tests and face-to-face interviews with the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Gneushev, 60 participants for the main educational program and 30 people for training in the program upon returning to the region were selected. On August 4, 2025, the official opening of the training under the program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" took place, with the participation of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
