      The verdict against residents of the Tver and Nizhny Novgorod regions, found guilty of treason in the interests of Ukraine, has entered into legal force. This was reported by the press service of the FSB of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod and Tver regions. The illegal activities of the defendants were identified and suppressed by the agency's employees. It was established that a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region formed a negative attitude towards the special military operation in a resident of Tver through correspondence on Telegram. The man also persuaded the Tver resident to join a banned Ukrainian terrorist organization in Russia for the purpose of committing crimes and participating in hostilities against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The court sentenced the resident of Tver to 16 years and 9 months of imprisonment, while the resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region received 14 years in a strict regime. Each will spend the first three years in prison.
