"Rostelecom" trained civil servants to work with AI in a secure environment.

      On April 8, 2026, 16:58 Society "Rostelecom" held a training seminar on working with neural networks for employees of the ministries of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The event took place on April 6 at the Corporate University of the regional government, with more than a hundred civil servants participating.

      The training was conducted on the online platform "Neurogateway," created by "Rostelecom" for working with AI services in a unified interface. All of them operate in a secure environment, allowing users to process sensitive information without the risk of data leakage. In the company itself, such solutions have already become part of everyday work: employees use neural networks for information retrieval, text preparation, image creation, meeting protocol drafting, and other tasks.

      Mikhail Komarov, Director of Business Development in Data and Artificial Intelligence at "Rostelecom":

      “'Rostelecom' conducts similar seminars for representatives of the public sector across the country to raise awareness about AI tools and their integration into work processes. It is important for users to assess the relevance of implementing AI technologies. Artificial intelligence is a working tool that should be used where it is truly effective and economically justified considering infrastructure costs.”

      During the event, special attention was given to generative models. The expert noted that such systems can quickly process large amounts of data, but do not guarantee the accuracy and repeatability of results. This is especially critical for public administration, where precise solutions are required. The specialist emphasized that in critical processes, responsibility always remains with the human, and neural networks should be used as a support tool and for automating routine operations. If autonomous AI agents are to be implemented, a separate team must be created to establish the necessary integration of neural networks for the predictable operation of the implemented products and to ensure the required level of security.

      The practical part of the meeting gave participants the opportunity to test the services and assess which of them are suitable for various tasks.
