The wartime worker Alexandra Degteva celebrated her 100th anniversary.

      The 100th anniversary was celebrated by a rear worker, labor veteran, widow of a participant in the Battle of Kursk, and resident of the Moscow district, Alexandra Stepanovna Degteva. This was reported by the district administration. According to the head of the Moscow district administration, Vladimir Kropotin, the life path of the military generation evokes great respect. "They all grew up very quickly. After finishing 7 grades, Alexandra Stepanovna worked in a collective farm throughout the war. In 1946, she moved to the city of Gorky. She worked as a nanny in various families, then came to the 'Era' factory, where she met her husband. The post-war years were difficult, but Alexandra Stepanovna managed to preserve kindness and faith in a better future, raise her children, and care for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren," said the head of the district administration, presenting the veteran with a commemorative gift.

      Alexandra Stepanovna celebrated her anniversary surrounded by her loved ones. When asked about the secret to longevity, she replied: "Love for life and people." This love has always guided her, and her favorite pastime was fishing with her husband. According to her, the main outcome of her life has been her children: Alexandra Stepanovna raised two children, has three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

      Reference: Alexandra Stepanovna Degteva was born on April 7, 1926, in the Voskresensky district of the Gorky region in the village of Voskresenskoye.
