In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the All-Russian program "Guides of Meanings. New Route" has started.

It aims to systematically engage high school students in grades 9-11, university students, college and technical school students in the field of youth policy, as well as in projects and programs for youth implemented at the federal, regional, and municipal levels, and is intended to help everyone find opportunities for self-realization in the region and the country. The program is being implemented as part of the national project "Youth and Children." The organizers are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodyozh) in collaboration with the Directorate for the Organization of Youth Forums and Programs. In 2026, it will take place in two waves - in spring and autumn. "An important feature of the program is that we are not just inviting young people to participate, but we are forming an approach where opportunities literally come to each person in the format of field meetings. At its core is the 'equal to equal' model, which is a unified standard of communication and interaction between participants and guides. A special emphasis is placed on taking into account the characteristics of the regional audience and the phased involvement in project activities," noted the Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Svetlana Anufrieva. From April to June, the program in the Nizhny Novgorod region will cover at least 10,000 school students and 5,000 students from secondary vocational education institutions from 18 municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region, with more than 500 meetings planned. The meetings will take place in a specially developed format for the program, adapted to the specifics of the Nizhny Novgorod region - this is a "navigator of opportunities" for youth through real-life scenarios, success stories, and interactive formats. Work with meeting participants will be conducted using both digital and analog tools, taking into account the characteristics of educational organizations. The meetings will be conducted by teams of "Guides of Meanings," which include specialists in youth work, employees of educational organizations, participants and graduates of youth projects and programs, representatives of public organizations, activists, and leaders of partner organizations. To participate in the program, each of them underwent federal online training to confirm their official status. Additionally, the Ministry of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, together with the youth center "Height," organized regional meetings in both online and in-person formats to introduce the regional team of guides and immerse them in the prepared regional presentation for conducting meetings. It is worth noting that since 2025, in Russia, by the order of President Vladimir Putin, the national project "Youth and Children" has been in effect, which fulfills tasks previously outlined in the national projects "Education," "Science and Universities." The national project aims to create opportunities for the development of talents and self-realization of young people, fostering responsible and high-moral individuals. At the center of the national project is the construction and renovation of schools, upgrading the qualifications of teachers, creating new teaching methods, and comfortable learning conditions. Special attention is given to supporting talented youth, including young specialists. The national project includes nine federal projects and programs: "Russia - a Land of Opportunities," "We Are Together," "Russia in the World," "All the Best for Children," "Leading Schools," "Teachers and Mentors," "Creating a Network of Modern Campuses," "Universities for the Generation of Leaders," "Professionalism."
