What changes have occurred in the routes of Nizhny Novgorod public transport?
April 3, 2026 13:00 Society Over the past month, a number of changes have occurred in the transport system of the Nizhny Novgorod agglomeration. The details were shared by the deputy head of the regional Ministry of Transport, Denis Ryabinin, on social media of the CRTS. In March, a unified schedule was established for the movement of electric trains and bus routes No. 207 and No. 101 in the Balakhna and Gorodets districts. In Bor, the schedule for route No. 102 was adjusted, and in the Balakhna district, the number of evening trips on route No. 19 was increased. The arrival time of the train from St. Petersburg to Samara was also changed to coincide with the schedule of bus No. 50. In Nizhny Novgorod, after attracting new drivers, the number of trips on routes No. 16, 9, 13, 17, and 31 was increased. Additionally, the schedule for buses No. 63 and No. 85 was revised, and route E-6 was switched to a unified schedule for weekdays and weekends. Starting from April 1, four bus routes were extended. Route No. 74 now connects the village of Vysokovo with the Komsomolsky microdistrict in Sormovo. Buses No. 94 run from Gorky Square to the "Verkhnie Pechery" microdistrict. Separate trips to the village of Nagulino were introduced on route No. 99, and route No. 171 was extended to the "Medvezhya Dolina" microdistrict from the village of Berezovy Klin. In Kstovo, route No. 60, previously designated as No. 6, has been switched to regulated tariffs — it runs from the "Volzhsky Bereg" sports complex to the village of Privolzhsky. Similar tariff regulation has been introduced on routes No. 218 and No. 218A, which connect the Kstovo bus station with the village of Bolshoye Mokroye and the village of Krivaya Sheloksha, respectively. In addition, buses No. 202 have started to stop at the Balakhna bus station. Furthermore, from April 15 to October 15, seasonal bus service on route No. 234 is planned to resume, which will run from the TPU Kanavinsky bus station to the Zinyaki gardens.
