      The average salary of doctors at the central city hospital of Arzamas is over 106,000 rubles. This was reported by healthcare representative Alexey Nikонов on Telegram. He noted that over the past four years, the average salaries of doctors and nurses at the largest hospital in Arzamas have increased by 40%, and junior medical staff by 63%. Staffing continues as well. Last year alone, 28 doctors and 66 nurses joined the Arzamas hospital.

      In 2026, priority will be given to staffing the outpatient clinics of the Central City Hospital with ENT doctors and urologists. A major renovation of the treatment building No. 3 is also planned, said the chief physician of the central city hospital of Arzamas, Oleg Kurakhtanov. He added that last year the number of surgeries increased by 36%. A total of over 10,000 interventions were performed, including 755 high-tech stent placements and 49 thromboextractions. Thanks to the support of the regional Ministry of Health, modern equipment was purchased for the hospital, including a digital mammograph, electrosurgical knives, intravascular ultrasound systems, and rotational endarterectomy devices.
