Maslyakov Street in Nizhny Novgorod will be expanded to three to four lanes.
March 31, 2026 11:35 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, a major overhaul is planned for the section of Maslyakova Street from Gorky Square to Ilyinskaya, which includes widening the roadway to three to four lanes and organizing two-way traffic. This change will affect the segment heading towards the Pokhvalinsky exit and Kanavinsky Bridge. This was reported by IA "Vremya N," citing the Department of Transport and Road Management of the Nizhny Novgorod Administration. Currently, design work is actively underway, which will also include the creation of a new public transport stop on Maslyakova Street. This will improve conditions for passengers and enhance road safety. Repair work is scheduled to begin in July-August of this year. This will allow all necessary activities to be completed before the start of the autumn season and ensure comfortable movement for residents and visitors throughout the year. As previously reported, the total length of the section is 270 meters, with the project including five adjacent driveways. More than 100 million rubles will be allocated for the financing of the work. It was also reported earlier that repairs are planned for 2026 on Sergievskaya, Gogol, and Oboznaya streets.
