Transneft - Upper Volga JSC has completed the preparation of facilities for operation during the spring flood period of 2026.

      On March 31, 2026, at 11:55, the company "Transneft – Upper Volga" completed a set of measures to prepare production facilities for the safe passage of spring floods. Special attention was paid to the reliable operation of oil pumping stations and other site facilities. Specialists performed maintenance on shut-off valves and a thorough inspection of the technological wells of control and measuring instruments and automation. The integrity of drainage systems, dewatering equipment, stationary and mobile pumps, floating means, special equipment, machines, and equipment was checked at all company facilities. Work was carried out on the linear part of the main pipelines and in the tank farms. Additional inspections were conducted on 141 crossings of main pipelines over rivers and 629 crossings over small watercourses. A necessary emergency stock of materials was formed. All operational and repair personnel underwent additional briefings and training on actions in flood conditions and organizing work in areas of possible flooding. Coordination of work during the flood period in the branches is carried out by specially created working groups under the leadership of chief engineers.
