Nizhny Novgorod region topped the Rosmolodezh rating based on the results of monitoring the involvement of regions in the grant competition.

      On March 30, 2026, at 10:53, Society The Nizhny Novgorod region took first place in the monitoring results of regional involvement in the grant competition of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). In 2025, youth from all over the Nizhny Novgorod region submitted 2,190 projects to participate in grant competitions, 164 of which became winners. The grant community of the region was enriched with new experts, speakers, and ambassadors. The total reach of all publications about grants in the region's media resources exceeded 1 million.

      "Being first in the engagement monitoring is both an honor and a responsibility. The Nizhny Novgorod region proves that grant support today is an effective tool for implementing the boldest ideas, and our task is to create all the necessary conditions for this. This year, we will focus on improving the quality of applications and the share of winners, strengthening work with projects in municipalities, expanding the expert community, and enhancing the expertise level of each of them, as well as building a sustainable support system for participants—from idea to reporting," said the Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Svetlana Anufrieva.

      The monitoring analyzed reports from subjects based on 23 criteria divided into 5 blocks: participation and victories in competitions and events "Rosmolodezh. Grants"; organization and conduct of a series of in-person and online events to popularize the grant competition; training in social project design and project application submission; informational support for events aimed at engaging youth in participation in Rosmolodezh grant competitions; and a post-support system for winners, regional and other grant competitions.

      At the same time, the Nizhny Novgorod region entered the top 3 regions based on the results of the competitive selection for the expert council "Rosmolodezh. Grants" for 2026. This community of professionals will evaluate grant competition projects and support winners at all stages of implementation. This year, 55 residents of Nizhny Novgorod became experts.

      Currently, two competitions "Rosmolodezh. Grants" are open—this is a great opportunity to attract additional funding for youth initiatives. Within the framework of "Rosmolodezh. Grants. Season 1," participants aged 14 to 35 can receive support of up to 1 million rubles.
