According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod," the Nizhny Novgorod District Court extended the preventive measure on March 26. Sokolova was detained in February 2026. She has been charged with fraud committed by an organized group on a particularly large scale using her official position.

      Along with her, the former acting chief physician of hospital No. 33, Pavel Zubeev, who is also her father, was detained. He could not be charged at that time because he suffered a heart attack on the day of his detention. He was urgently hospitalized and soon underwent surgery. Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that about 50 million rubles were found in Zubeev's cottage.
