THE DAY OF INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS TOOK PLACE AT DPI NSTU

      On March 25, the Dzerzhinsk Polytechnic Institute of NGTU named after R.E. Alekseev held the Day of Industrial Partners – a meeting of students from the 2nd to 4th years with potential employers. The goal of the traditional career guidance forum is to familiarize students of DPI NGTU with leading industrial enterprises in the city and region, and to assist in the employment of the institute's graduates. Representatives of the companies presented to the students with presentations and videos about their activities, discussing existing vacancies, career growth opportunities, youth policies, and other areas of work. After the classroom presentation part, in the Industrial Hall of the institute, company representatives informally communicated with the graduates, exchanged contacts, and agreed on direct meetings at the enterprises. According to the director of DPI NGTU, Alexander Petrovsky, such meetings are extremely important, "as they inform students about the offers from potential employers, both in terms of job content and conditions, and give them confidence in solving the problem of future employment and self-realization." During the event, students of DPI NGTU met with employers from 15 enterprises and organizations, as well as representatives of the administration of the Dzerzhinsk urban district. An interested dialogue took place with the leadership of JSC "Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation," employers from companies "Sibur-Neftekhim," FKP "Factory named after Y.M. Sverdlov," JSC "GosNIIM "Kristall," LLC "Sintez OKA," LLC "KHROMOS Engineering," LLC "OKAPOL," LLC "LUKOIL-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez," JSC "NIIPolymers," JSC "GosNIIMash," OJSC "Krascvetmet," LLC "Dzer," LLC "Syntanol Plant," LLC "RusSilica," JSC "NIIK." The deputy director of the department of economic development and investments, head of the industry and entrepreneurship support department of the Dzerzhinsk city administration, Olga Rusina, emphasized: "Today, such events are extremely important, and the city always supports them. We all – both the administration and the residents – want young specialists to stay in the city, build their careers here, and develop. Education, science, and production are the future of our city." Such events play an important role in the exchange of knowledge and experience and contribute to the development of professional skills!
