"Rostelecom" has expanded the list of routers with the "Wi-Fi with authorization" service.

      March 24, 2026 15:34 Society "Rostelecom" has expanded the list of routers that support the organization of guest Wi-Fi service with authorization by integrating its own Wi-Fi platform with equipment from Russian manufacturers. The company's clients in the small business segment, who are already using the basic service "Internet for Business," will be able to set up a Wi-Fi network for their guests/customers without additional costs for purchasing or renting a separate Wi-Fi access point. The ability to choose a suitable device from a list that now includes about 20 models will help entrepreneurs focus on the quality of customer service.

      A network organized in this way complies with the legal requirements for mandatory identification of users of public Wi-Fi networks and does not interfere with the operation of other closed Wi-Fi networks that the client uses for official tasks. For small businesses operating in a small area, including hostels, mini-hotels, coffee shops, and hairdressers, this is an opportunity to enhance the attractiveness of their establishments for customers without additional expenses.

      Wireless internet access remains one of the most sought-after basic digital products in small business. According to Rostelecom's data, at least 86% of accommodation facilities in the hospitality sector use Wi-Fi. The demand for wireless solutions with routers remains high in other areas of entrepreneurship as well.
