The director of the Nizhny Novgorod firm has been found dead in a tank with petroleum products.

      March 20, 2026 10:05 Incidents An investigation has been launched in Nizhny Novgorod into an accident that resulted in the death of the general director of LLC "ALPHA-LOGISTICS." According to the regional Labor Inspectorate, the tragedy occurred on March 15 around 11:00 PM at the company's premises in the Avtozavodsky district. The company's director arrived in the city to purchase a container from a railway tank car. According to an assistant, the director was inside the container and allegedly removed his gas mask. As a result, he inhaled fumes from the remaining petroleum products and suffered fatal poisoning. Furthermore, the notification of the industrial accident was not sent within the established timeframe. This is considered a violation of the requirements of Article 228.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. In accordance with labor legislation, the Labor Inspectorate has begun an inspection to establish all circumstances and causes of the incident.
