Nizhny Novgorod enterprises are invited to participate in the regional competition "Exporter of the Year. Made in Russia."

      March 20, 2026 09:52 Economy Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, large companies, and individual entrepreneurs from the Nizhny Novgorod region are invited to participate in the regional competition "Exporter of the Year. Made in Russia." The competition is organized by the Export Support Center of the Nizhny Novgorod region in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the region as part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export." Since 2026, the regional competition has been combined with the national promotion program "Made in Russia." The presence of the "Made in Russia" certificate (REC) is a priority evaluation criterion and an advantage for participants. "Participation in the competition gives regional companies the opportunity to receive an independent expert assessment and demonstrate the results of their work in foreign markets. The evaluation of participants this year will be based on indicators from 2025. Export dynamics, the presence of international certification, the level of adaptation of digital resources for foreign audiences, media presence, as well as participation in specialized international events and exhibitions will be taken into account," emphasized the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov. The winners of the competition will be determined in the following main nominations: "Exporter of the Year. Industry," in the SME category, "Exporter of the Year. Agro-Industrial Complex," "Food Products," "Fashion Industry," "Beauty Industry," "High Technology IT," "Film, Animation," "Tourism Industry." The competition also includes additional nominations: "Woman - Exporter of the Year," "New Geography," "Marketing Breakthrough," "Global Development of Trade Networks and Digital Platforms." Participation in the regional competition "Exporter of the Year" is free. The national project "International Cooperation and Export," initiated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, is being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod region by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship.
