37 residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region were awarded state honors.

      March 20, 2026 10:19 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 37 residents have been awarded state honors. The solemn ceremony took place on March 19 at the Rukavishnikov estate museum. The awards were presented by Acting First Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Andrey Gneushev, as clarified by the regional government press service. Among the awardees are representatives from the fields of culture and art, science and education, agriculture and industry, participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO), as well as employees of state and municipal authorities. As Andrey Gneushev noted, all the awardees make a significant contribution to the development of the region and are its pride. According to him, many of them work at enterprises in the region, participate in strengthening the country's defense capabilities, and contribute to the growth of the region's economic potential. He specifically emphasized the role of specialists in the fields of science and education, highlighting their contribution to the training and upbringing of youth. Gneushev also pointed out the importance of the work of employees in the construction, road transport sectors, agriculture, culture, and public organizations. "Each of those receiving awards today makes a personal contribution to the common cause in their own place, and this work deserves honor and recognition at the highest level," he said, congratulating the awardees and wishing them new achievements. Special words of gratitude were addressed to veterans of the SMO and participants of the "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod region" program.
