The fifth mentoring center "Hooligan House" has opened in Chkalovsk.
On January 19, 2026, a mentoring center for teenagers called "Hooligan House" began operations in Chkalovsk. This is the fifth site in the regional network of teenage spaces operating in the Nizhny Novgorod region since 2021. Previously, such centers were opened in the Soviet and Kstovo districts of Nizhny Novgorod, as well as in the cities of Bor and Uren. The center in Chkalovsk is located at: Komsomolskaya St., 11. It operates from Monday to Saturday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The goal of the centers is to organize useful leisure activities for teenagers outside of school. "Hooligan House" provides psychological counseling, individual and corporate mentoring, assistance in career choice, and the development of social skills. Support is also offered to parents: consultations, therapeutic groups, and a parent club are available. The space is equipped with a living room, kitchen, training room, a creative activities room, and workspaces for curators and mentors. The interior is designed in the historical style of the Chkalovsk district, featuring images of Rostislav Alekseev and Valery Chkalov. The opening ceremony was attended by Igor Sedykh, the Minister of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Ekaterina Nikitina, advisor to the General Director of the ANO "Agency for Strategic Initiatives," and Marina Efimova, director of the ANO "Mentoring Center for Teenagers 'Hooligan House'." Guests of the event participated in master classes, arm wrestling, drumming, and dumpling making alongside teenagers. The center was gifted a tabletop hockey game from the "Torpedo" hockey team, a foosball table from the "Paris NN" football club, as well as posters with autographs from players of the "Torpedo" mini-football club. According to Igor Sedykh, the creation of such spaces is part of a systematic effort to support and accompany children and teenagers. He noted the high social demand for such formats and announced plans for further development of the mentoring center network in the region.
Ekaterina Nikitina, advisor to the General Director of the ANO "Agency for Strategic Initiatives," emphasized that the implementation of the project became possible thanks to the combined efforts of government authorities, businesses, and public initiatives. By the end of 2025, about four thousand events were held in the regional "Hooligan House" centers, with nearly 42 thousand teenagers participating.
