An unidentified person attacked a bus driver in Zavolzhye.

      A serious incident involving the driver and an unknown man occurred at the final stop of route bus No. 101, traveling from Gorodets to Zavolzhye.

      According to the regional State Labor Inspectorate, on the evening of January 10 at about 20:45 on Rozhdestvenskaya Street in the city of Zavolzhye a conflict broke out between the 65-year-old driver of the route bus of the State Enterprise of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Gorodetspassazhiravtotrans" and a passerby. The unknown man pulled the driver out of the cab and forcefully threw him onto the icy asphalt.

      Medics recorded multiple injuries in the victim. According to the official classification, they are categorized as severe and are being treated as an occupational accident.

      According to the chief state labor inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ilya Moshes, an official investigation has been launched.

      Specialists are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident, checking for possible violations of occupational safety requirements and monitoring what measures the employer will take to prevent similar situations in the future.

      Earlier it was reported that in Dzerzhinsk a security guard died on a bus on his way home from work.
