      A 65-year-old driver of bus No. 101 in Zavolzhye was injured as a result of a conflict with an unknown passerby. It all happened in the evening right at the final stop on Rozhdestvenskaya Street.

      "On January 10 at 20:45 a conflict occurred between the 65-year-old driver of the 'Gorodetspassazhiravtotrans' bus and an unknown passerby," the State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod region reported. "The passerby dragged the driver out of the bus cabin and threw him onto the icy asphalt, as a result of which the worker sustained multiple injuries."

      As the examination showed, the injuries are classified as severe. In this regard the inspectorate has opened an investigation into the incident. "An investigation of a serious workplace accident has been initiated," said Ilya Moshes, the chief state labor inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod region. "During the investigation it will be necessary to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify those responsible for violating occupational safety requirements."
